Spent some good time with the family, some range time (golf and gun), hit the lotto at Wal-Mart and scored the last 3 boxes of 9mm in the store, a bit of work around the house, paid $0.589 cents per gallon to fill up the family sedan (legitimately!) etc.. Good food and drink was enjoyed before I start my month-long effort to drop a few lbs. Polished off the scotch on Sat. so there will no temptation outside of the wedding and reception we'll be attending this weekend. Good luck to me there!
I made a point to try and avoid the news - TV, radio, internet - all weekend, but finally broke down this evening. Damn, it never lets up, does it? Tiller's murder today in KS is not a good thing for the country and obviously not for him and his family. Let the left-wing loonacy commence. GM is off to bankruptcy-land tomorrow - 6-7 months and tens of billions of dollars too late.
